Biketour

From 26th May until 30th May, 30 young activists from all over the world cycle from Ulm to Villingen, organizing interviews, meeting politicians, giving public demonstrations and spreading information on the impact of the Global Arms trade to the people.

Starting in Ulm, already our staring point is related to the topic. Ulm is not only famous for it's Gothic minster and being Albert Einstein's birthplace, but it is also the headquarter for one of the biggest German arms manufacturers, Walther arms.

With a distance of about 200km, we will take the beautiful bike tour along the Danube (Donau),  passing through the Black Forest all the way from Ulm to Villingen, through Ehingen, Riedlingen, Sigmaringen and Möhringen to get to the international Small Arms Congress “Human Target” in Villingen-Schwenningen. On May 30, 2013, we will arrive in Villingen-Schwenningen.

Cyclists – Medical students, young doctors and old hands from the movement – come from Nepal and India, Kenya and Nigeria, Canada and the US, as well as from all over Europe.
